About The Author

Tomas Black was born in the UK and spent his formative years in London's East End, working in and around some of the great markets of Billingsgate, Smithfield, Borough and Petti Coat Lane. It was only natural that these locations feature heavily in all his books. He eventually left London for the University of Sussex and ended up teaching for several years before taking a post graduate diploma in computer sciences. This eventually led him back to London and a bank in the City which specialised in the trading of gold bullion. He eventually ended up specialising in Information Security. This brought him into contact with many of the services involved in keeping the City of London secure. The idea for his first book - The Omega Sanction - stems from this experience. He left the City of London some years ago and now spend much of my time writing and travelling.

The Omega Sanction revolves around a fictional organsiation called ROD. They are the Pinkertons of the financial services industry and work both sides of the pond. You can read the prequal - DRUMBEAT - which is free to download for subscribers of my newsletter.
